Since catching up with all I've missed requires a lot of words and a lot of pictures, I will do separate posts instead of one long, rambling post. Happy Belated Birthday America!
Here is the river we applied all our hobbies to-birding for me, rock hounding for Emily, and bug collecting for Amanda.
Later we conveniently got to watch the small parade from our trailer while eating dinner. It was super hot but we even got to eat in the shade. Perfect!
That night we saw the play "The Wizard of Oz" at a cute theater called Starlight. It was funny and a very good show. What made it even better was near the end the big firework show started and we all got to watch what were (in my opinion) the coolest fireworks ever. And the best part was we got to stay up until 10:30 (we hardly ever stay up late on the 4th of July).
