Yesterday evening we picked the other half of the apples still on the tree-and there were way more than half! I think we will be eating apples every day for the rest of our lives. We were grabbing any container we could find from the garage: plastic bins, a canning bowl, a basket, and even shoe boxes.

Wow I thought we had a lot, but I don't think we came close to that harvest. Now the fun part (heavy on the sarcasm) - canning. We spent a nice portion of our fall break doing just that - have a great time!
I can't believe that many apples came off that small tree! I don't envy what you will be doing for the next week or two!
