Last Week!

Sadly, we just finished our last week of summer!! I have got to say though it was a really fun last week.

Monday Dad took the day off and we all went to Roaring Springs Water Park. We got very wet and had lots of fun. No pictures though, we didn't want to risk the camera getting stolen.

Tuesday we went swimming with our friends the Rawlings at their neighborhood pool. It's been in the hundreds lately, so a perfect day for swimming.

Wednesday Mom and I did some shopping and then we all had a girls day with our friends the Hansen's at Coldstone and our house.

Thursday was our summer rewards day for finishing our summer projects, which everyone finished.We did a little of everything.

The girls were not pleased that they could only ride the smaller carts. They had scowls on their faces the whole time.

 We got these huge Otter Pops for a dollar each. Not a bad deal.

 Friday we left to go camping at Ponderosa with the Rawlings. All their family didn't make it for the entire time, but we still had lots of fun.

 We were all in our campsite walking around when this fox comes walking straight through our camp! It didn't even notice we were there. Mom got a picture of it through the trailer window. He seemed to be just passing through.

We went swimming that afternoon. There was a log in the lake, and so a game of "balancing while the log spins out from under you" began. Here's me getting up with Dad holding it still.

 It was a great last week, but now the alarms are set, backpacks packed, and the dread of homework looming, because now, summer is over. :(
